This magnificent bit of advertising artwork is brought to you by the good folks of Allen & Ginter, producing an enormous 14 ½-by-29-inch display piece to promote their Game Birds set of 50 cards, all of which are pictured on the piece. The paintings are sensational, with wonderful color and intricate backgrounds, with appropriate nods to Richmond Straight Cut No. 1 and Virginia Brights Cigarettes. The display piece, affixed to an extremely heavy board, presents very nicely but has some paper loss in the upper-right corner that affects no cards.
