Presented is an attractive 1913 T200 Fatima Team Premium of the Philadelphia Americans, the oversized treasure that mimics imagery of the unique 16-card Team card set that was inserted in tins of the Fatima Cigarette Co. Printed on a brittle, thicker card stock with a gelatin coating on the front, the cards are sensitive to cracking and scratching. The offered piece is an approximately 11-by-19-inch image affixed to a heavy cardboard backing bringing the dimensions to 13-by-21 inches. The Philadelphia Americans were in the middle of perhaps the club’s greatest dynasty, winning three World Series crowns in the four years from 1910-13 under the direction of Connie Mack and the likes of Hall of Famers Eddie Collins, Frank Baker, Chief Bender, Eddie Plank and the celebrated “$100,000 Infield. Title No. 3 in that span came in 1913, adding to the cachet of this incredible premium, that while technically Poor because of missing pieces, staining and some paper loss to the image, remains a significant artifact based on its rarity and prominence within the hobby for advanced collectors.
