Presented is one of the true rarities from the famed tobacco era of last quarter of the 19th century and first two decades of the 20th, the massive, oversized 1913-16 Fatima Cigarettes Posters that featured many of the legendary figures of the era. Ty Cobb is pictured on this 12 ½-by-19-inch black-and-white photography that is neatly complemented by a full-color image of a pack of the sponsor’s smokes that seemingly accents the elegance of the piece. This example presents in Good condition but has extensive back damage from having been affixed to another surface, along with some pinholes, and creases and small tears.
