Offered is a World Series program from the Detroit Tigers’ historic tussle with the Chicago Cubs, all neatly housed in a striking 15-by-12-inch wooden plaque. The 8 ¼-by-11-inch program from Navin Field in Detroit presents in broadly VG-Ex condition, with only some light dirt or staining along the spine and some wear to the upper-right front corner. The center double truck scorecard sections for both teams are unmarked, with only a tiny tear on one page. The 52-page program slides into a plexiglass holder that is affixed to the polished Cherrywood plaque. Beneath the holder is a nameplate with “World Series 1935, Chicago Cubs, Navin Field” engraved. The plaque itself is essentially as-issued and in pristine condition.
