Ray Dandridge was one of the finest fielders and hitters to ever play baseball but never played one game in the Major Leagues. A victim of racial segregation, Dandridge's career lasted from 1933-1949 playing for both the Negro Leagues and in Mexico. Dandridge only appears in two sets - Caramelo Deportivo series from 1945-46 and 1946-47. This 1945 RC has the characteristics of a typical VG card, some corner wear and a few slight wrinkles, but light paper loss on the back accounts for a PSA 1 grade. The image is clean and offers good visual appeal. A very solid entry for any hobbyists specializing in rookie cards, HOFers or the Negro Leagues.
