Offered is a compelling example of one of the most important rookie cards extant, Willie Mays’ attractive 1951 Bowman Rookie, the horizontal masterpiece that is, of course, one of the two keys to the fabled 1951 Bowman issue and a hallmark item for any serious Willie Mays collector. This is card No. 305 in the set, arrives with better centering than most and is graded PSA 4, making it a particular favorite for serious collectors of arguably the most popular postwar player in major league history.
