Here is arguably the most attractive Topps issue from the Golden Era of the 1950s, the all-painted 1953 set that pictures the great players of the period in stunning, colorful paintings that are as iconic as the players they represent. The offered set is in a highly collectible Good to Excellent condition, with great color and gloss and the two keys – Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays – showing up in PSA 3 and 4.5 slabs respectively. It comes out to 12 percent Excellent, 10 percent VG-Ex, 53 percent Very Good and 23 percent Good, with just a couple of cards below.
