While not the hallowed rookie card, the Mick’s second-year 1953 Topps card has gained considerable prestige over the years via its incredible, stoic lithographic Mantle portrait image as well as being the 1952 rookie card successor. This 1953 Topps Mickey Mantle has VG corners along with bright colors on the front. There are a couple of water spots on the back of card No. 82 resulting in a PSA 2 grade.
