Presented is the iconic 1953 Bowman Football set, the 2 ½-by-3 ¾-inch treasures that depict the early 1950s era NFL stars in a format with colorful backgrounds and a roster of Hall of Famers and legendary figures. The offered set is in breathtaking condition, with blazing, vivid colors and outstanding gloss. With 69 slabbed by PSA, the vast majority being PSA 8 and PSA 7, and the default grade for the raw cards being Near-Mint, the offering is as nice a 1953 Bowman Football set as we have ever offered. It comes out to 21 percent PSA 8, 52 percent PSA 7 (including 11 raw), 24 percent PSA 6 (including a dozen Ex-Mt-Plus raw cards) and only a handful below.
