Presented is a rare opportunity to pick up a near set of the classic Hartland Football Linemen Statues from 1959-62 in a remarkable, high-grade condition that is essentially Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, highlighted by bold, vivid colors and gloss and a striking uniform presentation. This outstanding array of the coveted Linemen has some duplication (noted) and is missing only the ultra-rare Washington Redskins Lineman Statue and those of the Lions, Giants, Browns and Giants, which are offered in individual lots in this auction. As noted above, the group is pretty uniformly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with just the barest whisper of toning on some of the figures. A Decal Sheet is also included with the lot, with 32/36 of the numerals present. The breakdown (11): 1) Colts – with just the tiniest nicks to uniform number decals; 2) Eagles – with just the tiniest nicks to uniform number decals; 3) Bears – just the tiniest nicks to uniform number decals and faceguard is missing; 4) 49ers – no uniform number, with the barest nicks to the helmet and a small crack to the green base; 5) Vikings – no uniform number, with just the barest nick to the backside; 6) Cardinals – with just the tiniest nicks to uniform number decals; 7) Cardinals – no uniform number; 8) Rams – no uniform number; 9) Packers – with just the tiniest nicks to uniform number decals and the right foot needs to be reglued; 10) Cowboys – no uniform number, with some tiny nicks to the base; and 11) Cowboys – uniform number only on the back with just the tiniest nicks the decal. Ultimately, it’s incredibly rare to find so many of these coveted pieces in such superb overall condition, making the lot an uncommonly attractive option for advanced collectors.
