Presented is a wonderful example of the popular 1960 Topps Baseball issue in a grade seldom encountered, clearly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with the vast majority falling into the Near-Mint designation as evidenced by 20 of the key Hall of Famers who have been slabbed and assessed as Near-Mint by PSA, and two others who earned PSA 8 Near-Mint to Mint nods. It is simply difficult to imagine finding this important issue in such superb condition, with only nine cards earning a grade of Very Good or lower. The offering presents two – at a minimum – distinct possibilities: it could be purchased on its own merits as a high-grade foundation to the first Topps issue of the decade of the 1960’s, or the huge percentage of Near-Mint cards could be used to upgrade almost any existing set.
