Presented is an attractive partial set of the popular 1960 Topps Baseball issue, a group with a handful of Hall of Famers and a boatload of Specials, plus a lengthy list of stars, minor stars and All-Stars, most in broadly Excellent to Near-Mint to Mint condition. Headlined by a BVG 5.5 No. 200 Willie Mays, the partial set with just a wee bit of duplication includes 10 Managers, 21 Rookie Stars, Five Coaches, four Rookie All-Stars, two World Series subset cards and two Teams, plus four of the difficult High Numbers. It comes out to 13 percent Near-Mint to Mint, 31 percent Near-Mint, 31 percent Ex-Mt, and 19 percent Excellent, with just six percent below, mostly to VG-Ex. About a dozen of the Near-Mint to Mint cards and a half dozen or so of the Near-Mints have the kind of centering that might prompt thoughts of an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center qualifier.
