Presented is an attractive grouping of 1960s Gold Base Bobbin Head Dolls featuring two of the legendary original NFL franchises and a pair of expansion teams as the league entered its dramatic growth stage after the merger with the American Football League in 1966. The 7-inch figures generally boast excellent painting, bold colors and nice gloss, providing a compelling, uniform presentation that would fit seamlessly with even the finest collections. Unless otherwise indicated, the figures come with the original box and the colorful 2 ½-by-5 ½-inch label. Here’s the lineup: 1) 1967 Atlanta Falcons – with the metal faceguard, presents in seemingly Near-Mint fashion, nudged only by a tiny nick to the “Atlanta” decal on the base, and comes with an Excellent box; 2) 1967 New Orleans Saints – handsome Near-Mint presentation with the metal faceguard and no chipping of the delicate decals; 3) 1961 Washington Redskins – has the metal faceguard and an outstanding presentation, but significant crack to the helmet and wear around the neck, plus light nicks to the back and base; and 4) New York Giants – great color and gloss, has the metal faceguard, but major cracks to the face and helmet.
