In a companion issue to the three Post Cereal baseball card sets from the early 1960’s, the company offered the youth of America a complete set of 200 cards of their favorite football players from 1962, each individual card precariously printed on the back of the company’s breakfast cereals’ boxes. Typically found with varying degrees of questionable craftsmanship with the clunky family scissors, the individual cards can thus be highly treasured when found in uncut form like this, with six cards presented on each box back stacked three high on each side, along with a bit of company cheerleading about how to collect the complete set. This lot is loaded with Hall of Famers and boasts 36 cards from six box backs fairly typically cut from the box, with a somewhat rugged cut but only minimally infringing on any of the cards: there is a tiny corner nick on No. 125 Johnson and No. 155 Meinert, and light damage to No. 45 Khayat.
