This may be the most spectacular and unusual Mickey Mantle artifact that we've come across in some time, an enormous 28-inch-high complete Jello Box display featuring the legendary Mantle in his iconic batting pose, resplendent in blazing, vivid colors on an image surface covering 17-by-28 inches. The display is 34 inches across and 9 ½ inches deep, with blank top and bottom. The piece presents in outstanding fashion, perhaps technically Fair because from a tear on the bottom (not visible in normal presentation) and the top, and flaps that have some of the expected minor tears and creasing, along with some adhesive residue on the underside. All told, is a knockout, with an almost cosmic presentation of the most beloved player of the postwar era. Never seen one before, and we won't hold our breath expecting to run across another like it.
