1963 Baseball Magazine M118 Premiums Group (105)

This is an outstanding accumulation of the 1963 Baseball Magazine (M118) Premiums that showcased many of the greatest ballplayers from several generations. The black-and-white and sepia-toned photographs measure 8 ½-by-11 inches and are found here in a sterling, mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt condition. The group is headlined by nearly four dozen Hall of Famers, including many of the legendary figures from the 1920s to the 1960s, including names like Aaron, Banks, Berra, Campanella, Cobb, DiMaggio, Feller, Ford, Greenberg, Grove, Hornsby, Walter Johnson, Kaline, Killebrew, Koufax, Mack, Mathewson, Ott, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Jackie Robinson, Snider, Speaker, Stengel, Ted Williams and Young, to name a few. Overall the group comes out to roughly 2/3 Excellent to Ex-Mt and 1/3 mostly Very Good to VG-Ex, with a handful above and below the range. Many of the most famous photographers of the age were featured in the issue, including Charles Martin Conlon and George Burke, along with many of the prominent news services listed in the photo credits.
