Presented is a spectacular example of the important 1964 Bazooka Baseball issue, an assembled box featuring Panel No. 1 with Mickey Mantle, the key element to the set and one rarely found with the legendary Hall of Famer in a complete box. The 5 ¾-by-3-inch box (1 ¼-inch deep) presents very nicely, certainly well in excess of any technical grade that might be assigned due to small tears on the top and bottom flaps or a missing small inside flap. Tape residue and a small tear barely detract from the presentation; the three-card panel on the back with (left to right) Mickey Mantle, Dick Groat and Steve Barber is jostled only by a barely visible light creasing across the bottom of all three cards that does not detract from the presentation and found only with careful scrutiny. This is an important artifact from one of the early Bazooka issues, featuring the most beloved and important player of the era.
