Presented is a huge grouping of 1965 Topps Baseball cards that features the regular-issue cards of more than 110 Hall of Famers along with similarly imposing numbers of stars, minor stars and specials, all from a childhood collection in a somewhat wider condition range than typically encountered. The Hall of Fame roster includes multiple cards of Henry Aaron, Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax, Pete Rose, Willie McCovey, Don Drysdale, Al Kaline and dozens of others, cards that generally conform to the wider condition range noted above. With an approximate 1,800 cards, the condition range can roughly be calculated at Good to Excellent, with the emphasis probably to Very Good and with quite a few above to Ex-Mt, along with a significant number jumping up to Near-Mint status. The Hall of Famers are noticeably in a bit better condition than the broader group as the listing below suggests (player’s regular-issue card is indicated unless otherwise noted).
