Presented here is a highly collectible example of one of Topps greatest efforts in the late 1960’s, the colorful 1967 Baseball issue that boasts some of the finest photography the company ever produced, presented in a clean, simple design that captivated collectors. This is one of those rare instances where the key cards are essentially in a superior condition to the rest of the aggregation, as testified by a grouping of nearly two dozen Hall of Famers and high-value cards that have been slabbed and graded by PSA. The preponderance of this group – 12 of 23 – have been adjudged PSA 8 Near-Mint to Mint, and the remaining 10 are graded PSA 7 Near-Mint, along with a single PSA 7.5. That’s an imposing pedigree for a complete set that ends up with an overall grade of Excellent to Near-Mint, with the emphasis falling into the Ex-Mt category, and a few below. The cards have a nice uniform presentation, with excellent photo registration and color intensity, good centering and gloss.
