Offered here is a 1967 Topps Roger Maris Yankees blank-backed proof card, which is technically No. 45 in the set and arrives in a PSA 3.5 holder. Maris was traded from the Yankees to the Cardinals in 1967 so this card was initially produced as a proof, but was never issued. Since only a very short supply of these were produced and then any supply of them was incinerated when the company's building and inventory were destroyed by fire in the late 1970's, the "Yankees" version is a true rarity. The few that remain are blank-backed and are typically way off-center. PSA has graded 60 of these according to its population report, with this one being the only example to receive a numerical grade so you are getting the highest graded single in existence. This one arrives in a PSA 3.5 holder, with 55/45 left to right centering and 90/10 centering top to bottom, with VG-EX corners and a clean surface.
