Here’s a spectacular piece of American folklore, unused and seemingly as-issued full tickets from the August 15-17 Woodstock Music Festival, the event that so neatly encapsulated the counter-culture movement that defined the era. The 2-by-6-inch tickets appear to have avoided the mud-stained and calamitous festival that brought hundreds of thousands of rock fans to an Upstate New York pasture for three days of historic musical debauchery, artifacts that trace their roots to arguably the most famous event of its kind in American history.
