This is an attractive grey, knit V-neck pullover Cubs jersey attributed to pitching coach Hank Aguirre, with Wilson collar label Size 44 and “73” chain-stitched year tag on the front tail. Aguirre wore No. 4 in 1972 and 1973 and No. 37 in 1974; his No. 37 appears on the front and back in royal blue tackle twill, same configuration for “CHICAGO” on the front. The shirt has royal blue collar and sleeve end accents, and the famed embroidered Cubbie patch appears on the left sleeve. The outline of the grey knit strip tag under the Wilson labeling is visible.
