This is a neat piece from the long-defunct World Football League, a game-worn jersey attributed to linebacker Larry Shorty, a three-year standout at Arizona State before a short stint in the WFL in 1975. The green mesh home jersey has Shorty’s No. 49 and crossover V-neck and screened-on numerals and striping; cheesecloth name plate with “Shorty” is screened on the back. Red Fox Athletic Size L label is partially disengaged from the tail. Shirt shows solid shoulder wear with team repairs and dings and turf burns.
