Presented is an important New York Cosmos jersey, attributed to veteran Brian Tinnion, who played 16 seasons professionally from 1965-81 and was the league MVP and scoring leader in the ASL in 1982. This handsome shirt from 1976 came in a campaign when Tinnion played alongside the legendary Pele, adding cache to a shirt already linked to the most famous and successful team in the NASL. It is a green mesh gamer with white ribbed knit red collar and sleeve end accents, screened-on logo and Tinnion’s No. 18 front and back. “Tinnion” is in green on the jersey back and the right sleeve has the three-inch Bicentennial patch. The Champions Medium flap tag is at the collar.
