This is a particularly compelling Chicago Bears helmet from 1977-78 and attributed to Bo Rather, a 12 pt./4 pt. hybrid suspension model with Wilson shell, Size 7 1/8 with crown donut and leather jaw pads present. It has a 1978 recon sticker, interior concussion padding and No. 80 marked in red electrical tape inside. It is drilled for an OPO grey mask that is present but not attached. The chinstrap is not present and the interior leather headband is worn away.
