For schedule card collectors, this is a great opportunity to dramatically expand an existing collection or launch on a new one, adding more than 450 skeds in really nice condition, an array with some notable duplication that touches on all the major professional sports, college and the Canadian Football League. Most of the cards are folded to 2 ¼-by-4 inches – roughly 4-by-7 inches unfolded – and are in genuinely pristine condition, easily Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with the emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum. By nature of the lot, totals are estimates and listings of teams are focused on clubs with the most duplication and not necessarily all inclusive. That said, here’s a rough breakdown (450-plus): MLB teams include the Giants, Mets, Padres, White Sox, Twins, Red Sox, Cubs, Pirates, Dodgers, Angels, Rangers, A’s, Tigers, Orioles and Royals; NFL clubs include the Packers, Chiefs, Jets, Lions, Bears, Cardinals, Broncos, Eagles and Falcons; numerous examples from the NBA and NHL, along with soccer, college basketball, the Canadian Football League and field hockey, to name a few. The roster of sponsors is not surprisingly an imposing group: Pepsi, McDonald’s, Bonanza, Chevron, Big Boy, plus lots of beer – Budweiser, Coors, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Labatt’s and Blatz, to name a few.
