This is an attractive grey knit Tigers pullover from reliever Pat Underwood, who toiled for the Tigers for four seasons between 1979-83. The Wilson Size 42 tagging is at the collar, with “41” stitched flap tag alongside; the “80 1” team-stitched swatch tagging appears at the left-front tail. The jersey has the block-letter “Detroit” across the front in orange and navy tackle twill, the same scheme for his No. 40 on the back, with “Underwood” affixed directly to the shirt on back. The navy/white/orange elastic accents appear on the collar and sleeves. Shirt show light game wear; Underwood finished his career with a 13-18 log, with 4.43 ERA and 188 strikeouts.
