Here’s a nifty bit of business from a beloved modern-era Green Bay Packer, game-worn shoes from Packer Hall of Fame running back Edgar Bennett from his storied six-year tenure with the club at the close of the last millennium. The shoes are outstanding, both in eye appeal and vivid game use, with enough dirt from the Frozen Tundra to challenge the tidiest of collectors. The green Nike Swoosh appears on the sides of the shoes and on the heel, along with imprinted “34” on each shoe and the popular ex-Packer has signed each shoe in black Sharpie and added his No. 34. Bennett was a vital cog in the championship Packer squads from 1992-97, piling up 3,992 rushing yards and another 2,245 receiving, yielding 31 touchdowns.
