This is the convergence of two Major League Baseball icons, the man who is arguably the greatest player in the history of the game and the fabled bat maker from Louisville, Ky., both handsomely presented in this pristine, 35-inch Louisville Slugger Store Model Bat. On the barrel is a stunning Babe Ruth facsimile signature, the format made famous by Hillerich & Bradsby in fashioning lumber for generations of major league stars, journeymen, and everybody in between. The bat is a truly remarkable artifact, seemingly Near-Mint or better, with only a couple of small, barely perceptible scratches on the handle that are visible only upon careful examination and clearly don’t detract from the presentation. It is simply a great piece from the most famous player in baseball history depicted on the tool of the trade that he helped promote to legendary status.
