This Babe Ruth Home Run Special baseball features 13 signatures, with 10 Hall of Famers including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Ruth's elegant script is on the sweet spot, with Gehrig, Carl Hubbell and John Broaca on the West panel. The South panel features Joe McCarthy and Tony Lazzeri, while the North panel includes Ben Chapman, Dizzy Dean, Mickey Cochrane and Charlie Gehringer. The East panel offers Red Ruffing, Paul Dean and Bob Feller. The ball dates to the 1930s, but finding the exact theme has proven difficult since all seven of the New York Yankees players played on the 1934 team, while Dean, Hubbell, Gehringer and Cochrane played in the 1934 All-Star Game, but Paul Dean was never an All-Star and Feller debuted in 1936 and wasn't an All-Star until 1938. Either way, strong signatures throughout make this one a gem, with each signature authenticated by BAS with a full LOA.
