This is an imposing game-worn helmet from the St. Louis Cardinals, with several autographs from prominent figures in club history. The 1979-80 dated helmet shows considerable game use and has the full-cage mask. No. 60 appears at the back of the helmet, suggesting Barney Cotton and usage in 1980 or 1981. The eight autographs on the back include a couple that are difficult to decipher or identify, but the roster does include Larry Wilson (with his HOF ’78 notation), Dan Dierdorf, Terry Miller, Goode and Jim Hanifan.
