Armed with two of the nastiest curveballs in all of baseball Bert dominated the mound for more than two decades. When he finally walked away from the game he had amassed over 3,700 strikeouts, placing him fifth on the all-time leader's board. His "Rawlings" "Deep Well" pocket Fastrack model glove is constructed of brown leather which is soft, supple, and very well broken-in. He has signed in blue marker along the inner pinky with additional "Bly" on the outer thumb and "28" on the outer ring finger. The glove was obtained directly from Blyleven by our consignor and it was used during the 1985 and 1986 seasons, including the 1985 All-Star Game. A great piece from a Hall of Fame pitcher.
