Here are three attractive uncut sheets from some popular non-sport issues featuring spacemen, comic book heroes and Civil War scenes, along with an incredible 1916 Three Ring Circus Painting Book. The non-sport grouping includes a vintage Bowman issue from 1951 and a pair of more modern sheets from 1975 and 1986. Here’s the breakdown: 1) 1951 Bowman Jets, Rockets and Spacemen, a 22-by-16-inch sheet in Excellent-Plus condition and portraying card Nos. 145-180, a total of 36 of the quaint 2 1/16-by 3 1/8-inch cards.; 2) 1975 Topps/Marvel Comic Book Heroes Stickers uncut sheet, with 44 of the standard-size stickers in Good condition, revealing a bit of corner wear.; and 3) 1986 De-Lish-Us Potato Chips 25-by-19 uncut sheet of Civil War Scenes, that presents Ex-Mt but is technically Very Good from some corner wear. The Three-Ring Circus Painting and Coloring Book is one of the coolest non-sport pieces we've handled in awhile, a massive coloring book from 1916 loaded with marvelous artwork throughout its 16 pages, including several in color and others seemingly ink drawings with soft pastel color added to provide examples for the youngsters. The drawings on the oversized 10 ½-by-15 inch pages are nothing short of sensational, picturing some of the most popular animals and circus scenes, all just begging to have the youngsters’ artistic talents put to the test. The book, in Excellent-Plus condition, is so spectacular that it might prompt the winning bidder to photocopy some of the pages to serve as fodder for children’s coloring efforts, rather than employing the actual pages.
