One of the all-time great Brooklyn Dodgers, the big righthander was the first player in baseball history to be awarded the Rookie-of-the-Year, Cy Young Award, and Most Valuable Player during his career. In 1956, Newcombe won 27 games and became the first pitcher to be named MVP, and Cy Young Award winner, in the same season! Was active and highly visible with the LA Dodgers right up until his passing earlier in 2019. This lot offers signed versions of two of his key singles - 1956 Topps No. 235 and 1961 Topps MVPs No. 483.
