Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969) He was the 34th president of the U.S. commander in Chief of U.S. Forces in European theater (1942). Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of President Eisenhower waving from a moving automobile signed in fountain pen by Eisenhower, perhaps as president, and also co-signed by Kentucky Senator John Sherman Cooper and Transylvania College President Frank A. Rose. It depicts the three men on their way to dedicate the Frances Carrick Thomas Library at Transylvania College, KY on April 23, 1954. There are some scattered light creases, surface marks, and impressions, and a couple trivial edge tears, otherwise fine condition. Eisenhower's presence at the dedication was integral in the University's financial drive that year. This is an exceptionally nice Eisenhower signature. Signatures are authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full LOA.
