This is a artifact from the early 1970s Dallas Cowboys tenure, not attributed to a specific player and not drilled for a mask, hence not used on the field and no player name on the lower-back center striping. Possibly used for display purposes, the helmet has the Riddell shell 12-point suspension, jaw pads and crown donut intact, with Wildcat Snubber and custom leather neck band. The “8/71 Time Clock” stamping is present and No. 68 is in marker on the helmet interior, possibly referring to Herb Scott. Some striping has disengaged a bit on the helmet’s lower back.
