This attractive early to mid-1970s Chicago Bulls Warm Up Jacket is attributed to John Murphy, whose name appears on screened-on black-and-white hot-press lettering on the back, despite his never having played in a regular-season game for the Bulls. Thought to be a preseason designation for the 6-foot-8-inch Murphy, who was drafted in the Eighth Round in 1975, the jacket has Sand-Knit labeling with Size 40 at the collar with seven red snap buttons down the front. The famed Bulls logo appears at the back below the Murphy name in the same hot-press fashion. The jacket was originally lettered and numbered for No. 2 Norm Van Lier, as indicated by faint remnants.
