For the last three decades or so, top athletes have been immortalized in a wide range of attractive cast figures, but few carry the kind of dimensions and incredible attention to detail as this imposing 16-inch-high portrayal of the legendary Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. The figure comes in the original mailing box from the Danbury Mint, with the elaborate Styrofoam protective packaging, and includes a COA from The Mint. The enormous figure sits atop a stunning 13 ½-by-10-inch wooden oval base that appears to be in the same Near-Mint or better condition as the statue itself, nudged only by the tiniest nick at one of the preformed holes used to hold the figure in place, a nick that would not be visible once the statue is affixed in place. Also featured on the wooden base is a striking gold Brett Favre facsimile autograph. As noted, the figure is breathtaking in its intricate detailing and superb painting, a must-have piece for any serious Brett Favre fan.
