This 29x40 poster features artwork by Keith Haring and was used to promote "The Montreux - Detroit Jazz Festival, Aug. 27th-Sept. 1, 1986" across the bottom. The framed poster features black Sharpie signature from both Andy Warhol and Haring, which are both authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full LOA. Haring was an American artist and social activist whose work responded to the New York City street culture of the 1980s by expressing concepts of birth, death, sexuality, and war. He got to know Andy Warhol, who was the theme of several of Haring's pieces, including "Andy Mouse." His friendship with Warhol would prove to be a decisive element in his eventual success, particularly after their deaths. Haring died in 1990, while Warhol would pass in early 1987, just six months after this festival. Extremely desirable piece and one of the very few signed by both.
