When you have the kind of extraordinary World Series performance that Mickey Lolich did in 1968 the trophy hardware comes from many directions, in this instance a charming 8 ¼-inch wide wooden trophy with a gold-painted baseball player figure atop a baseball on one side and a 3 ½-inch circular wood element on the left side. An 8-inch gold-plated nameplate bears engraving at the base that reads: P C Family Club, Most Valuable Player World Series, Mickey Lolich. All elements of the trophy appear to be essentially as-issued and problem free.
