Presented is a very nice example of the iconic 1948 Bowman Baseball issue, the first postwar baseball card issue and an important starting point for advanced baseball card collections. A striking BVG 5 Stan Musial rookie headlines a near-set of the coveted 2 1/16-by-2 ½-inch cards. The offered set is in a highly collectible essentially Very Good to Ex-Mt condition, with only a couple of cards below the range; the missing numbers are 27, 29 and 39.
