Presented is a handsome array of important Yankees, Dodgers and Indians Picture Pak photos, most from 1947 but a few Dodgers earlier and the Indians from their fabled 1954 season, most of the 6 ½-by-9-inch photos in Very Good to Excellent condition and with a lineup headlined by the great DiMaggio spearheading a roster that includes four other Hall of Famers and a number of key stars from the period. Here’s the breakdown: Yankees (17) - DiMaggio – Very Good; Mel Allen – presents Excellent, but pencil notation on reverse; Bevens, Corriden (2), McQuinn, Dressen and Harris are Excellent; Henrich, McQuinn, Silvestri, Shea, Robinson, Dressen, Drews, Embree and Gumpert are Very Good; Dodgers (8) – Medwick presents Ex-Mt but has a pencil notation on the reverse; Vaughan and Davis are Ex-Mt; Corriden, Casey (2), Melton and Newsom (pencil notation on reverse); 1954 Indians (6-by-9 inches) – (12) Most present Excellent but have slight corner damage from having been affixed to an album – Wynn, Feller, Mitchell, Hoskins, Hooper, Houtteman, Majeski, Philley, Dente, Pope, Regalado and Westlake.
