Issued in 2000, serigraph numbered "211/425," flawlessly signed in pencil in the lower margin by Piazza and Neiman (both grading "10"). Edition limited to 518 total impressions (425 numbered impressions, 85 artist's proofs, and 8 printer's proofs). This is widely recognized as the premier Mike Piazza signed artist display piece. Neiman first met Piazza during his days with the Dodgers and the artist was impressed by his powerful persona as his description of the ballplayer makes clear: "Piazza represents the healthy, perfectly conditioned athlete. In his moves, effortless and graceful, you see an ideal, picture-perfect sports hero in action. A fierce competitor, Piazza is the ultimate professional." The serigraph measures 33 x 33 inches (image area) and is in Near Mint condition. Serigraph image measures 29.5 x 37 inches.
