Offered is a striking game-worn mist-green flannel vest jersey attributed to the Athletics’ assistant coach Al Vincent. The Size 42 jersey shows consistent wear and usage; Vincent’s No. 42 appears at the front in Athletics green and gold tackle twill with some puckering evident. The adjacent “A” script logo neatly matches with virtually no fraying; the larger “41” on the jersey back again reveals some puckering and minimal fraying. The gold and green stitching on the yokes and collar show considerable wear and usage, including fraying of the stitching. A Tim McAuliffe Inc. label appears on the front left tail, with flag tags of ’67 and Size 42 affixed directly beneath. All seven buttons are intact and reveal some likely team alteration, with four white and three gray buttons. Vincent was the Athletics assistant coach for the 1967 season.
