This H&B model number C229 bat dates to the 1965-67 labeling period and was used by Orlando Cepeda. It measures 35.5 inches and weighs 35.2 oz., and is made of Ash with a standard finish. The bat exhibits outstanding use and possesses identifiable player characteristics and has been assigned a grade of GU 9.5 by John Taube of PSA/DNA. Cepeda’s jersey number “30” is written on the knob in black marker and a handle crack and custom tape job is also present. This is simply one of the nicest Cepeda’s gamers in the hobby. Cepeda won the MVP in 1967, with a .325 batting average, 91 runs scored, 25 home runs and a league leading 111 RBI.
