This lot offers four H&B bats from early Houston Astros and Colt 45's, including Al Spangler, Bob Aspromonte, Lee Maye and Pete Runnels. The breakdown is as follows: Spangler 1961-64, 34.25" M117 bat with heavy use on the barrel and a large chunk of missing wood on the back of the barrel. Aspromonte 1965-68, 35" K55 with "14" written on the end of the knob in black marker, with heavy use on the barrel and a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle and a large handle crack; Maye 1965-68, 34.5" M168 model with "20" on the end of the knob in black marker with medium use on the barrel and a handle crack; and Runnels 1961-64, 35" B211 with "3" written on the end of the knob in black marker, with heavy use on the barrel, including grain swell, separation and some missing wood on the back of the barrel.
