This lot offers four game-used bats from the 1962 New York Mets team, with each H&B bat from the 1961-64 labeling period. The list includes: Ed Kranepool 34.75", K55 with "21" on the end of the knob in black marker, with heavy coat of pine tar with heavy use on the barrel and a handle crack; Frank Thomas 34.75", M66 with "25" on the end of the knob in black marker, with medium use on the barrel and a "H" crack on the handle; Jim Hickman 34", S2 with "9" on the end of the knob in black marker, along with medium use on the barrel, a handle crack and the name "Steve" on the back of the barrel in black marker; Marv Throneberry 35", T99 with "2" written on the end of the knob in black marker with a heavy coat of pine tar and heavy use on the barrel with a handle crack.
