Presented are seven fascinating memorabilia items linked to the Dodgers’ closing seasons in Brooklyn and their historic arrival on the West Coast in 1958. A trio of very important Dodgers Yearbooks headlines, really nice condition examples from the final two years in Brooklyn and the first year in Los Angeles. The 1956 and 1957 Yearbooks are Near-Mint and Ex-Mt respectively, both featuring artwork from the legendary Willard Mullin on the cover; the 1958 Yearbook is in Excellent condition. The two Memorial Service programs – four pages each and 5 1/2-by-8 ½ inches – commemorate the passing of two Dodgers Hall of Famers: Roy Campanella and Don Drysdale. Both are Near-Mint - the Campanella program is dated June 30, 1993 and Drysdale is dated July 12, 1993. There is also a 5-by-7-inch Dodgers Christmas card printed in blue and red and featuring the usual holiday graphics and a black-and-white team picture of the fabled 1955 club that brought the World Series title to the borough. The last item is a nice condition (Excellent) of Quick Magazine from October 1952, the 4 ¼-by-6-inch publication at 72 pages with the great Jackie Robinson on the cover.
