This is an intriguing vintage promotional poster featuring the legendary Heavyweight Champion Joe Louis, touting an eponymous “ring” that has nothing to do with the squared circle but rather an actual ring for your finger. The Ex-Mt condition 9-by-13-inch poster features a central image of Louis in sepia-tone along with verbiage proclaiming that the champ’s ring is “an official piece of jewelry” made of a sensational new metal described as “Formula 18-8 SS.” With that kind of testimonial, it’s hard to dispute their assertion that the ring in question is “a must for every Joe Louis fan.”
