Presented is a great opportunity to pick up 10 key baseball card issues from the fateful decade of the 1980s when the hobby expanded in a fashion never imagined by serious collectors. The offered sets – 1982-86 Topps and 1981-85 Fleer – are essentially just as they must have been as they rolled off the presses almost 40 years ago, which is to say Near-Mint to Mint or better, with blazing colors and gloss and super clean card backs. In a decade loaded with iconic Rookie cards at a time when the concept was taking flight with a vengeance, the pasteboards of the likes of Don Mattingly, Mark McGwire, Cal Ripken, Roger Clemens, Ryne Sandberg, Tony Gwynn and Wade Boggs, et al., are here in the exact same condition as the other 7,187 cards in the group, which is to say breathtaking.
